For a few weeks now, I’ve been working on transforming the spare room in our house. I still have a lot to do but I shared this gold cart on my Instagram the other day (@thecuratedkids) and I wanted to share more of the details here.
Look at this beauty!
I probably could have finished this room a while ago but I’ve been trying to be really thoughtful with putting it together. It’s meant to be my little escape, my perfect pink corner of our family life. Of course, it’s now Ella’s favorite place to be and Jack loves climbing on the chair and I’ll even find Matthew in there sometimes. That is life as the mom! Still, it’s been fun picking out every single detail, especially this cart and everything that’s in it.
The room is meant to be a sort of closet/dressing room and I needed a place to store my makeup, jewelry, and other trinkets. Like the mug Ella picked out for me for Mother’s Day and the perfume my mom got me for Christmas a few years ago. This cart was the perfect fit.
I love that it’s functional and decorative. I can display pretty things but keep everything neat and organized. That’s sort of the gist for what the entire room is going to be. All the pretty things in one put-together place. I can’t wait to show you the rest of it!
