This is a special weekend for my church. It happens twice a year that general leaders give us specially prepared spiritual messages at a General Conference. I anxiously look forward to Conference weekend for guidance and answers to some of my most pressing and personal questions. One of the answers I received yesterday went something like this: God knows the end from the beginning and sometimes the answer to your righteous desire is “No” in favor of a far superior outcome. Sometimes, He needs you to learn something so he doesn’t give you everything you want. Faith includes trust in God’s timing.

I hope those words continue to take root in my heart and hopefully they can help you as well.
