I love Etsy– you can support small businesses while also finding really unique and creative gifts and special trinkets for yourself. And it’s the first place I look when I’m putting birthday parties together. Since I’m deep into planning Ella’s 5th birthday and putting our house together, I thought I’d share my favorite Etsy shops and finds from over the years:
You guys know I love monogrammed items and anything sentimental and these rings, with my husband’s name and our anniversary, are perfectly delicate and sweet tributes.
I love, love, love this shop! The pieces are well made and are stunning in photos and person.
I have lots of unofficial love languages but if we’re sticking with the original 5, “Words of Affirmation” is my number one. So besides being pretty and fun, this rug always makes me smile. And if we’re going with my unofficial ones, then file this rug under “anything pink” and “lower case letters.”
Such a great party shop! Ella and Jack are almost 5 and 2 and a half and these number one balloons are still inflated!
I love that I can keep all my loved ones close. I always feel more confident and like these little talismans bring me luck and love.
Shopping on Etsy is great because you never know what you’re going to find. You get the thrill of thrifting and finding something unique but you can also search for exactly what you want. Whenever I imagine something, whether it be an outfit or a party idea, I check Etsy because it’s a hub of imagination. And the range of items– when I was pregnant with Ella, I got everything from my baby shower invitations to decor for her nursery to headbands. Most of all, I just love a unique touch– that’s what makes life and childhood more beautiful.
