We had a beautiful Christmas program at church today. A powerful rendition of “O Holy Night” on the harp and the congregation sang “Angels We Have Heard on High” at the end were highlights for me. But my favorite lesson was from our youth speaker who drew comparisons between Santa and the Savior. He said that while Santa comes down the chimney uninvited, the Savior knocks at the door and waits for us to let him enter our hearts. Of course, Santa is great and fun and magical but where he comes once a year, the Savior can be with us all the time. Whenever we want him, wherever we need him.
