One last summer DIY! Where did the time go?! Who knows but I’m excited to hold on to summer a little longer with this fun clothespin mermaid DIY.

Ever since I got this locker bookcase for Ella, I’ve been on the hunt for cute magnets for the front. I haven’t been able to find anything I really love so I decided to make some magnets myself. I had the idea to make magnets that she could play with and this clothespin mermaid DIY was perfect.

Here’s what you’ll need to make them:

But I didn’t want to stop there so I made some sea creatures and a sandcastle, all out of cardboard and yarn.

I love how these turned out! I was a little intimidated by this idea but one thing I’ve learned with DIYs, they usually aren’t as hard as you imagine. You just need to start! I’m excited for all the love and play these magnets will get in the future
