tck party // tutu cute birthday party

My favorite tiny dancer turned TWO!

I have been dreaming up this Tutu Cute–make that TwoTwo Cute– party since the day after her first birthday. I wish that were a joke. Keep scrolling for all the pics & inspo for our disco ballet extravaganza!

The decor for this party is some of my favorite ever! That’s one nice thing about having a two year old with a strong personality, I really felt like I could create a party that captured her. Lots of sparkles and color and whimsy!

I made our mantel look like a stage because that’s Caroline’s favorite spot to dance. I made this stage curtain with pink satin fabric and didn’t have to cut or sew anything! Just a lot of tape and folding and I used ribbon to tie it up. Then I put the tinsel fringe garland underneath to make it more dramatic.

More disco balls! I also used tulle poms from my Party by Punch Tulle Cool Box. It lit up the whole room with sparkly reflections.

So this wall looks NOTHING like I planned. I had ordered a big fringe to go here but I checked the tracking a few days before the party and saw that it wouldn’t get here in time. So instead, I layered a few decorations and garlands from Ellie & Piper and I made that DIY canvas fringe and I am obsessed with how it all turned out! I also used foam boards and wrapping paper to make those arches. And I have to give a special shout out to Quinn & James Co for making this custom tutu cute resin garland. She also made these resin cake toppers!

Like I said, I looooooved putting all this decor together. So many wonderful small shops and Amazon finds made it possible! Stay tuned for all the party activities and my two year old gift guide, coming soon! See more updates on Instagram and Facebook and shop everything on Amazon and Shop LTK!
