My husband may disagree but I think that I have pretty simple tastes and I’m very easy to please. For example, here are some of my favorite things: pastels, chocolate, tulips, special occasions, and springtime.

So of course, I love Easter.

I love what it represents. I like to think that it’s a happy but serious holiday, another reminder to be grateful for all that we have. I’m grateful for my husband and daughter and I like to take special photographs to show that gratitude. And less seriously, I’m a sucker for any holiday with a dress code. So for this special occasion, we’re going to put on our pastels, eat more than our fair share of chocolate, and enjoy this Switzerland spring.
